This page describes how Frontenac Legal Support Services ("we", "us") handles information submitted through frontenaclegal.com. It does not apply to information we hold about clients as part of delivering a legal support file, which is governed by our engagement with the law firm or client on whose behalf that file is opened.

What we collect

When you use the request forms on this site, we collect what you provide, which may include:

Your name, firm or organization, email address and phone number
Details about the service you're requesting, including jurisdiction and party names
Any other information you choose to include in the form

The private-individual intake form also lets you attach documents and, optionally, a photograph of the party to be served. Attaching them is optional — you can still send documents by mail, or contact us to arrange a pickup.

Where you attach a photograph of another person, you are providing information about someone who is not the person completing this form. Please only attach a photograph you are entitled to share, and only where it genuinely helps identify the right individual.

How we use it

We use the information you submit to respond to your request, confirm the scope of a file, and provide the service you've asked for. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Where it goes

Both request forms — for law firms and for private individuals — are delivered directly to our office by email. Neither is hosted by a third-party form provider, and neither is stored in a database.

Files you attach are passed straight through to that email as attachments. They are not saved to any storage service, and no copy is kept anywhere other than in the email delivered to our office.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how this site is used. It does not use cookies or collect personally identifiable information, and it does not track you across other websites.

Cookies

This site does not set marketing or tracking cookies. Any cookies present are limited to what's required for the site and its forms to function.

Retention

We keep information submitted through this site for as long as needed to respond to your request and, where a file proceeds, for as long as our records-retention practices require for that type of work.
