Private Individuals

Please complete this form if you are a private individual or company requiring service. Law firms and legal services firms can email us directly or use our request form for law firms and businesses instead.

Please ensure you've read the terms of service and pricing below before completing the form. We are not able to accept orders or provide quotes to private individuals until the intake form has been completed.

Terms of service

We require a $200 retainer before we attempt service. The retainer can be sent by e-transfer to alex.legnini@frontenaclegal.com.
Attach the documents you need served to this form. If they are too large to attach, or you would rather send originals, you can mail them to us or contact us to arrange a pickup. Our administrative office does not provide walk-in service. Documents may be sent by mail or email.
Our staff is not able to provide legal advice with respect to completing court forms or legal rules and processes (court staff can assist you with these). It is the client's responsibility to ensure that the documents they provide are complete, accurate, issued (if necessary) and to provide accurate instructions. You must ensure that the files you send us are all of the documents that you need served. We will not check this for you. If you aren't sure, check with the court or consult a lawyer.
Though we make our best effort to serve all documents, service is not guaranteed. Expect the process of serving and returning the documents to take a few weeks. If you require rush service be sure to contact our office beforehand to make sure someone will be available.
We reserve the right to close any file in which we feel the client is acting in an unprofessional manner. The client will be responsible for all fees up to that date.

Private individual rates

A $200 retainer is required before we attempt service. Paid by cash, cheque, e-transfer or credit card before we attempt service (e-transfer is fastest). Deducted from your service fee — any balance is refunded once service is complete.

Additional fees may apply for special requests, such as services of process that must be completed within 24 hours, at a workplace or institution (prison), between 10pm and 7am, on a Sunday, during the day outside a 25km radius of our offices, or that require multiple attempts in one day.

Rush, Urgent and Emergency timing refers to the first attempt and carries a premium; Standard service follows regular scheduling with no added fee.

Please include the name, physical description (or attach a photo below), telephone number and all known addresses for the parties being served along with recommended times of day that we should attempt service. If you have listed a home and work address then let us know which we should attempt first. Please provide any other information that you feel would be helpful here as well.

What level of service do you need? *

Premiums are listed in the service levels table above. If you need Rush, Urgent or Emergency service, please contact our office as well, to make sure someone is available to complete it.

If these are Family Court documents, be sure to include the names of all documents we are serving. These will be listed on the Affidavit of Service so be sure to include everything.

You can attach as many as you need — select several at once, or keep adding them one at a time. PDF, Word, text or image files, up to 5.0 MB each and 10.0 MB in total. Optional: if your documents are too large to attach, or you would rather send originals, you can mail them or contact us to arrange a pickup instead.
